MRI Technologist

Job Summary
MRI Technologist responsible for patient safety and producing high-quality MRI studies. Responsibilities include pre-screening for contraindications, positioning patients, start IVs and administer contrast per protocol, ensuring aseptic technique, evaluating image quality, managing supplies and assisting with cleaning and patient transport, coordinating scheduling, and training new technologists or patient coordinators as needed. Strong interpersonal skills, effective communication with patients, staff, and radiologists, and adherence to MRI safety regulations are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
- Active ARRT (R), ARRT (MR), or ARMRIT certification
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- 1–2 years of MRI experience preferred
