Job Summary
Perform Magnetic Resonance examinations according to physician orders, utilizing sophisticated MRI equipment while accounting for individual patient special or age-related needs. Apply knowledge and judgment regarding imaging factors, technique, and treatment to produce optimal images. Maintain Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist licensure and obtain national certification within six months of hire. Work Saturday and Sunday shifts from 9:30am to 8pm at Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center in Oregon City, OR.
Required Qualifications
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
- Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist License upon hire or Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist Temporary License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 6 months of hire.
- National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists within 6 months of hire.
- New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.
