Job Summary
Perform Magnetic Resonance examinations according to physician orders using sophisticated MRI equipment, adjusting imaging factors and techniques to produce optimal images while accounting for individual patient special or age-related needs. Utilize knowledge and judgment regarding patient treatment to ensure high-quality diagnostic results. This part-time, variable schedule includes Saturday and Sunday shifts from 9:30am to 8pm at Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center in Oregon City. Eligible external candidates may receive a $4,000 sign-on bonus. The role requires an Oregon MRI Technologist license and national certification within six months of hire, with a focus on delivering whole-person care within a comprehensive healthcare organization.
Required Qualifications
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement
- Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist License upon hire
- Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist Temporary License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 6 months of hire
- National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists within 6 months of hire
- OBMI temporary license (for new graduates)
- Permanent license within 6 months of hire (for new graduates)
