MRI Technologist - Part Time

Job Summary
MRI Technologist to operate MRI equipment and produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes. Responsibilities include interviewing patients, ensuring metal objects are removed, positioning patients, using coils, operating the MRI system, communicating with patients, performing phlebotomy for contrast administration as needed, entering patient data into the computer, monitoring patient safety, validating image quality, adjusting pulse sequences, moving DICOM data per policy, and training MRI students. Requires Associate's degree or equivalent, graduation from a certified MRI program, and ARRT or ARMRIT registration. Part-time role with benefits in Culver City, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Graduate of a certified school of MRI technology
- Registered as an MRI technologist by either ARRT or ARMRIT by passing the registry exam and qualifying for the position
