Job Summary
Provide radiological services to patients according to physicians' orders under the supervision of the Radiology Manager, ensuring patient safety and high-quality testing. Operate MRI equipment to generate quality images in a timely manner while adhering to ACR guidance on MR safe practices. Maintain current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and the Texas Medical Board as a CMRT, along with American Heart Association BLS certification. Drive between campuses as a valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required. This part-time role involves days that vary.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or registered school of Radiologic Technology
- Previous experience in MRI
- Current registration with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or registry eligible within 90 days of hire
- Current registration in Magnetic Resonance Imaging procedure
- Certified by the Texas Medical Board as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (CMRT)
- American Heart Association BLS
- Valid Drivers' license

- Knowledge of American College of Radiology 'ACR Guidance Document on MR Safe Practices
