Job Summary
MRI Technologist (Part-time .75) in Brookfield, WI performs high-quality MRI imaging under site protocols, including patient positioning, equipment operation, safety, and image delivery. Responsibilities include screening and patient preparation, maintaining imaging protocols and equipment, assisting radiologists, providing patient care with compassion in a fast-paced clinical environment, administering contrast under site-approved protocols, ensuring compliance with MRI safety standards and accreditation (ACR), and handling administrative tasks such as release of information requests and image transfer. Requires graduation from an approved radiologic program, Wisconsin ARRT/permit eligibility, and CPR/AED certification; strong communication, attention to detail, and flexibility for evenings/weekends are emphasized. Must maintain permits to practice in all states served and demonstrate proficiency with EPIC/McKesson PACS and Microsoft Office tools.

- High school graduate or equivalent
- Certified MRI Technologist
- Graduate of an approved two-year radiologic technology program
- Valid, current, unrestricted Wisconsin state radiation operator certificate (with no limitations, stipulations or pending adverse actions)
- CPR/AED certified
- Skills and Requirements
- Must be registered with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or be registry eligible and possess a permit to practice where applicable.
- Must be able to interact with client personnel and team members in an autonomous responsible, professional and ethical manner.
- Must be accommodating, reliable and flexible to physician requests
- Must be able to produce high-quality MRI images with minimal supervision while adhering to established protocols and quality standards.
- Must be willing and able to assist the Radiologist in his/her interpretation of exams.
- Must be able to function effectively in both independent and collaborative team-oriented healthcare environments.
- Must be flexible, reliable and demonstrate sound judgment and initiative.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 60 pounds as well as assist with patient maneuvering.
