Job Summary
Identify patients, review requisitions, and screen for MRI contraindications before imaging. Ensure safety in the magnetic field, administer contrast media, and perform venipuncture with 95% accuracy. Review examinations for technical accuracy, document results, and deliver radiology reports to clinicians. Coordinate workflow, manage inventory, and assist with accreditation processes while maintaining radiation safety standards. Work day shifts with weekend rotation, including overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiological Technologist Program
- Licensed by the ARRT and in good standing with CE's
- Registered by the ARRT in MRI
- 50% of shifts need to be in MRI
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- BLS certification
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience preferred
- Displays a good understanding of age-related developmental issues
