Job Summary
MRI Technologist Nights position performing magnetic resonance imaging in accordance with scope and standards of practice and organization policies. Responsibilities include reviewing patient history and physician orders, educating patients about procedures, preparing and administering contrast media within scope of practice, monitoring patient condition, preparing equipment and supplies, selecting exposure factors and imaging parameters, implementing safety standards and quality control, troubleshooting equipment, positioning patients, analyzing results and communicating findings, and complying with required certifications. Requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program, RT MRI registration or registry eligibility with registry within 12 months, state licensure as applicable, and BLS/CPR certification; on-site role with weekend night schedule; compensation $40.40-$56.56 per hour (annualized through 2 weeks pay periods) with comprehensive benefits and professional development opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- Registered as a Technologist (RT) and registered in MRI (or registry eligible with registry within 12 months by ARRT (Radiography) or by ARMRIT
- State licensure if required by law
- BLS through AHA or Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card valid through sixty days of hire
