Job Summary
MRI/CT Technologist for a freestanding ER in Longview, TX. Responsibilities include operating MRI equipment to capture diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety and comfort, MRI safety screening, image acquisition and quality control, administering gadolinium contrast intravenously, processing patient data, assisting with radiological procedures beyond MRI, maintaining a clean MRI environment, and collaborating with facility staff. Requires strong customer service, excellent organizational skills, ability to work in a high-volume, high-stress environment, and current licensure with MRT and CPR certification. Weekend shifts required; night shift differential available; full-time benefits offered.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting
- Graduate of AMA approved School of Radiological Sciences or pre-approved equivalent
- Registered or registry eligible by the American Registry of Radiology Technology in MRI; registry must be obtained within 18 months of hire
- Licensed by the Texas Medical Board (MRT)
- Current CPR certification
