Job Summary
MRI Technologist position at Inova Mount Vernon Hospital (Alexandria, VA) for Full Time Day Shift. Responsibilities include performing MRI examinations per department standards, ensuring patient safety, obtaining clinical history and informed consent, assisting physicians with examinations, maintaining image quality, and handling routine equipment maintenance. Requirements include graduation from an accredited radiography program or MRI-related credential, ARRT/ARMIT/CAMRT MRI certification or eligibility, and BLS certification. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of radiography
- MRI certification from ARRT/ARMIT/CAMRT
- CAMRT certification or ARRT MRI registry eligibility if required
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- ARRT radiography OR ARMIT OR CAMRT certification (as applicable)
- 18 months’ experience/eligibility upon offer acceptance
