Job Summary
Responsible for creating cross-sectional images of patient's body for diagnostic purposes using magnetic resonance imaging equipment. The MRI Technologist positions patients on the examining table, demonstrates communication tools during examinations, enters patient data into the system, specifies scan sequences, observes patients for safety and comfort, verifies image quality, photographs images, and alerts staff to safety hazards in the magnet room.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in MRI technology
- Ability to position patients and operate MRI machines
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to MRI equipment
- Strong communication skills to interact with patients
