Job Summary
Perform MRI scans, screen and educate patients, obtain medical histories, and inject contrast materials. Ensure all forms and orders are complete, print films for physicians, and log patient scans and readings. Maintain room cleanliness, stock supplies, and perform calibration or routine maintenance of the scanner. Adhere to facility safety requirements, protect the scanning room from hazards, and attend required in-service programs. Assist with front desk duties as needed, including scheduling appointments and answering phones.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certified
- Must be able to read reports and use computer
- Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with co-workers and staff
- Must be able to move around on foot to make copies, deliver paperwork, attend meetings
- Must be able to pull files from file cabinets
- Kneeling may be required
- Must be able to lift items up to 30 lbs
- Pushing and pulling is required for all doorways, cabinet drawers
