Job Summary
Perform quality mammography procedures and assist radiologists in special procedures for the early detection of breast abnormalities. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide imaging services including ultrasound, CT scan, PET scan, interventional radiology, and nuclear medicine. Maintain clear communication, build collaborative relationships, and take initiative to improve the patient experience while pursuing professional growth. Methodist Dallas Medical Center is a 595-bed acute care teaching hospital and the only adult Level I Trauma Center in southern Dallas. The facility features the first and only Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center in the region and recently renovated the Linda and Mitch Hart Breast Center.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program
- meets the MQSA guidelines
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification — ARRT (M) or ARMRIT
- Texas Department of State Health certification
- 1 year Work Experience
- ARRT (R)
- employee will be required to obtain ARRT (M) license within 1 year of completing orientation
