Job Summary
Archives raw data, develops films in automatic processors, and transfers images to produce transparency. Ensures patients are free of interfering objects, positions them, and instructs them on procedures to achieve desired diagnostic results. Operates control consoles for scans, selects imaging techniques, enters patient data, and monitors acquisition. Instructs staff and students on equipment operation, notifies personnel of malfunctions, and schedules examinations for optimal utilization. This PRN role is with MedStar Health, a leading healthcare system in the Baltimore-Washington metro region recognized as one of the 'Healthiest Maryland Businesses'.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years related specialty experience (i.e., CT scan)
- ARRT Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Licensed by State of Maryland or (MR) ARDMS or ARRT - Magnetic Resonance ARRT (MR)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- PRN position availability
