Job Summary
Operate magnetic resonance scanners to obtain diagnostic images for physicians, ensuring patients are cleared of interfering objects and properly positioned. Archive raw data, develop films in automatic processors, and transfer images to maintain diagnostic quality and completeness. Instruct staff and students on equipment operation, notify personnel of malfunctions, and schedule examinations to optimize equipment utilization. Enter patient data at the start of each scan and monitor acquisition during procedures. Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years related specialty experience (i.e., CT scan)
- ARRT Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Licensed by State of Maryland or (MR) ARDMS or ARRT - Magnetic Resonance ARRT (MR)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- weekends 11a-11p
