Job Summary
Perform full range of MR imaging procedures on all patient types, including venipuncture, contrast media injection, and non-narcotic medication administration. Adhere to MR safety policies, physician directives, and research guidelines while providing patient education and answering questions. Monitor equipment for malfunctions, contact biomedical engineering, and report issues via ticket logs. Execute technical workflows within RIS, ERS, and EMR systems to ensure timely exam completion. Collaborate with technical aides for room turnover and coordinate with Patient Financial Associates to minimize delays. Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree
- Certificate in radiologic technology or MRI from a program accredited by an agency recognized by the US Department of Education (USDE) or Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA)
- ARRMIT - Registered Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist
- ARRT (MRI) Certification
- CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation/Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification
