Job Summary
Perform full range of MR imaging procedures on all patient types, including venipuncture, contrast media injection, and non-narcotic medication administration. Adhere to strict MR safety policies, research guidelines, and physician direction while ensuring correct exam execution and laterality. Provide patient education, maintain and monitor MR equipment, and report malfunctions to biomedical engineering. Coordinate room turnover with technical aides and collaborate with Patient Financial Associates to minimize delays. Track exams through RIS, ERS, and EMR systems to ensure timely completion. Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree
- Certificate in radiologic technology or MRI from a program accredited by an agency recognized by the US Department of Education (USDE) or Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA)
- ARRMIT - Registered Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist
- ARRT (MRI) Certification
- CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation/Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification
