Job Summary
Operate magnetic resonance scanner to obtain diagnostic images; ensure images meet quality standards; manage patient data at exam start and monitor data acquisition; instruct and demonstrate MRI equipment operation; identify and report equipment malfunctions; control console operation and imaging technique selection; transfer images to media and assist with scheduling to optimize equipment use; contribute to department goals and participate in quality and safety initiatives. Requires ARRT registration and Maryland licensure, 1-2 years MRI experience, and CPR certification.
Required Qualifications
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Licensed by the State of Maryland
- 1-2 years related experience in MRI
- CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (AHA or Red Cross) for healthcare providers within 90 days
