Job Summary
Operate MRI scanner to obtain diagnostic images for physicians; archive raw data and ensure image quality; develop films and prepare patients by removing objects that may interfere; enter patient data and monitor data acquisition; instruct staff and students on MRI operation; report equipment malfunctions; manage control console and imaging techniques; participate in quality/service improvement teams and schedule MRI examinations to optimize equipment use; transfers images as needed; maintain safety standards and comply with regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Licensed by State of Maryland
- 1-2 years related MRI experience
- CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (BLS/NRP) within 90 days
