Job Summary
MRI Technologist sought for outpatient imaging center to perform high-quality MRI procedures in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include patient screening, proper positioning, ensuring image quality, monitoring patients for safety and comfort, administering contrast agents as directed (if applicable), verifying patient information and orders, maintaining MRI equipment, and adhering to safety, infection control, and MRI safety standards. Collaborates with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff; maintains exam room cleanliness and organization. Requires graduation from an accredited Registered Technologist program and current ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification with Registry in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) or current American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
