MRI Technologist – Lorain Hospital & Northern Ohio Imaging Center

Operate magnetic resonance systems, select pulse sequences, and scan patients according to established protocols and physician requests while performing IV injections and administering contrast agents. Properly position patients, verify identification, screen for metal safety, and monitor conditions during procedures to ensure patient comfort and privacy. Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions in the absence of service engineers and report issues to the supervisor. Complete assigned tasks within appropriate time frames, perform quality assurance tests, and maintain controlled access to magnet rooms. Participate in training new employees and students, assist in performance improvement projects, and contribute to department audits.
