Job Summary
Performs imaging procedures according to physician's orders, utilizing knowledge and judgment regarding exposure factors, imaging technique, and patient treatment. Proficient in the field of MRI. Licensure/certification requirements include ARRT in Radiography or MRI, ARMRIT/MRI within six months if not MRI-certified at hire, and current state MRI license in OR and WA. BLS/CPR certification required. Education from a certified Radiologic Technology program with one year MRI experience preferred. Hospital/medical center environment with focus on patient care and imaging quality.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of certified Radiologic Technology school or program
- ARRT certification in Radiography, or ARRT certification in MRI required
- If not MRI-certified at time of hire, ARRT certification in MRI, or ARMRIT certification in MRI required within six months
- Current state license in Magnetic Resonance Imaging required for all employees who perform this job in the state of Oregon
- Current state license in Magnetic Resonance Imaging required for all employees who perform this job in the state of Washington
- American Heart Association BLS/CPR Certification
