Job Summary
MRI Technologist responsibilities include performing Diagnostic Magnetic Resonance Imaging of organs, organ systems and blood flow studies and providing Radiologists with images necessary to obtain diagnostic results for comprehensive reports. The role involves collaborating with radiologists, nurses, and imaging educators, teaching opportunities with radiology assistants and students, and engaging in mission-aligned imaging practices within Johns Hopkins Radiology. The posting emphasizes staying on the cutting edge of imaging software and protocols, mentoring, and opportunities for internal advancement. The position is full-time with an evening shift (4:00pm - 2:30am) at the Johns Hopkins Health System in Phoenix, AZ. Employment includes a sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Requires completion of an AMA approved program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent (two-year college or technical school program).
- ARMRIT or ARRT certification with current registration required.
- CPR certification required within three months of employment.
- Prefer magnetic resonance training program experience with clinical internship or one year of clinical imaging experience.
