Job Summary
Perform diagnostic MRI exams on patients using specialized equipment while collaborating with radiologists and physicians to ensure accurate imaging results. Manage patient care in a fast-paced environment, including transferring patients, ambulating individuals, and operating monitors to assess needs. Operate complex equipment with precision, document patient care via computer, and respond quickly to alarms and emergency situations. Maintain IV competency within 30 days of hire and meet ongoing physical requirements for lifting and manual dexterity. Work a stable day-shift schedule of 36 hours per week at Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
Required Qualifications
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(MR)
- American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R) cross-trained in MRI
- Basic Life Support certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- IV Competency within 30 days of hire
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 years of MRI technologist experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
