Job Summary
Operate MRI equipment, including the magnet, injectors, and cardiac gating systems, while adjusting pulse sequences and demonstrating correct anatomic positioning. Prepare patients for testing through thorough screening, administer contrast agents, and perform daily safety and quality control checks. Send images to PACS, transfer them to independent consoles for manipulation, and reformat post-processing for radiologist interpretation. Maintain supply inventory in assigned rooms and cover call duty as assigned. This variable, as-needed float pool role supports the imaging team within the Dawson Supplemental Staff department.

- ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
- NMTCB - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
- ARRT – American Registry or Radiologic Technologists
- ARMIT - American Registry of Magnectic Resonance Imaging Technologists
- NMTCB Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
- BLS – Basic Life Support
