Job Summary
MRI Technologist III performs routine and specialized MRI procedures to produce high-quality images for physicians to aid diagnosis and treatment. Works independently with sound clinical judgment, ensuring patient assessment, monitoring, privacy and safety, and timely delivery of accurate results. May assist in orienting other staff and ensure compliance with local/state/federal regulations. Qualifications include graduation from a Radiologic Technologist Program or Magnetic Resonance Program and certification such as CRT, ARMRIT, or ARRT (MRI); BLS; venipuncture; and strong knowledge of MRI principles, anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Proficient with RIS/LIS/EHR/EPIC/PACS, Microsoft Office, and effective communication to diverse audiences; able to build collaborative relationships with peers and healthcare providers.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from Radiologic Technologist Program prior to start date OR Graduation from Magnetic Resonance Program prior to start date
- CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist prior to start date OR ARMRIT-Certified MRI Technologist prior to start date OR ARRT (MRI) - Radiography certification prior to start date
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
- CVENI Certified Venipuncture
- General knowledge of diagnostic MRI principles, procedures, views, and equipment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain information clearly to diverse audiences
- Time management and organizational skills; ability to prioritize and work within procedures
- Familiarity with RIS/LIS/EHR/EPIC/PACS and Microsoft Office Suite
