MRI Technologist II - Weekend

Job Summary
Operates magnetic resonance imaging equipment, computer, and image management systems to perform MRI exams, collaborating with radiologists and staff. Prepares and positions patients, selects anatomical and technical parameters to produce cross-sectional images, ensures high-quality image submission to PACS, and conducts patient pre-screening and education related to examinations. Performs contrast injections under the direct supervision of the radiologist or designated physician. On-call as required; weekend shift. Maintains department cleanliness and supports various duties as needed to support MRI services.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED and Specialized Diploma
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology program
- RT - Registered Technologist Radiology - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire or MR - Magnetic Resonance Imaging ARRT - State of Pennsylvania within 1 Year or ARMRIT - Registered Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist - American Registry of MRI Technologists within 1 Year
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in all written and oral communications
- Skills in technical data interpretation
- On-call as required by the department
