MRI Technologist II

Perform routine and specialized MRI imaging procedures, selecting appropriate technical factors and administering contrast according to facility policy. Screen every patient, ensure proper positioning to reduce burn risks, and restrict access to authorized personnel while maintaining a safe MR environment. Transport patients to the scanner, verify physician orders, and process completed exams for interpretation while communicating effectively to promote patient comfort. Participate in departmental performance improvement initiatives, maintain inventory, and perform equipment quality control and phantom testing. Prioritize patient flow, document care activities in electronic health records, and distribute final images to the PACS system. Adhere to ARRT/ARMRIT standards and SPIRIT values in a supportive, patient-centered environment.
