MRI Technologist I - Outpatient

Job Summary
Performs routine and complex MRI procedures in accordance with established safety and quality standards and the special needs of patients. Works as a member of a specialized medical team to perform MRI scans of various organs, prepares patients for procedures, reviews pathology and reports to monitor progress, and collaborates with supervisors to improve patient care and technical quality. Monitors patient condition, provides first aid as needed, and reports equipment malfunctions. Requires completion of a one-year MRI program or ARRT MRI certification, CME requirements, Maryland licensure (preferred), ARRT MRI or ARMIRT certification, and BLS certification. Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of a one-year accredited program in MRI Technology or ARRT MRI certification
- Current with Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements
- Current State of Maryland Licensure (preferred)
- ARRT (MRI) or ARMIRT (required)
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS (required)
