MRI Technologist I

Execute basic clinical competence in MRI across all patient types, selecting accurate technical factors and administering contrast per facility policy. Screen every patient, ensure proper positioning to prevent burns, and protect the MR environment by securing ferromagnetic devices. Transport patients to the scanner, verify orders, and explain procedures to ensure comfort while prioritizing patient flow and coordinating with the care team. Maintain supplies, perform quality assurance activities including QA phantoms, and document patient care in electronic health records before distributing images to the PACS system. Participate in performance improvement initiatives and student training.
