Job Summary
Perform MRI procedures on all age groups, verify scan sequences, and monitor patient conditions while administering first aid during emergencies. Process technical films, review pathology reports to evaluate examination accuracy, and prioritize workflows for sedation cases. Monitor equipment performance, report malfunctions, and assist in clinical instruction for technologists and students. Maintain compliance with legal, regulatory, and MRI safety policies. This role supports the specialized medical team in delivering high-quality imaging care across various organs and patient populations.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of a two-year radiological technology program in AMA approved educational institution
- Ability to complete initial (or as directed) competency on IV injections
- Able to complete all MR examination types including cardiac pace maker, pediatric and anesthesia supported cases
- Certification by American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT)
- CPR BLS Certification
