Job Summary
Operates MRI equipment for diagnostic purposes. Requires an Associate’s degree in Radiological Technology and registry eligibility or active RT(MR)/ARMRIT certification. The role includes providing MRI services according to policy, maintaining equipment, and supervising training for student technologists and newly hired staff. Candidate must demonstrate strong customer service, communication, problem solving, and the ability to work independently with leadership and organizational skills. Schedule is full-time (40 hours/week) with 80 hours per pay period, 8 days on/6 days off, primarily 3rd shift, at Bronson Battle Creek. Responsibilities include patient preparation, adherence to safety and sterile techniques, QA activities, and ongoing education within the department.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree from an accredited school of Radiological Technology
- Registry eligible or registered RT(MR) and/or ARMRIT certification
- BLS certification within six months of hire date
- Must be able to operate basic computer programs for record keeping in the department
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Demonstrates leadership and organization skills; ability to work independently within procedures
