Job Summary
MRI Technologist responsibilities include performing Magnetic Resonance Imaging procedures to create high-quality 3D images, preparing patients, administering contrast when necessary, positioning patients for MRI, selecting appropriate imaging techniques, and ensuring scan technical quality. The role requires maintaining patient data, performing quality assurance on MRI equipment, supporting accreditation processes (ACR/other), reporting equipment incidents, and providing safe, compassionate, personalized experiences while meeting department goals and continuing professional development. The position is at Katy Hospital, in the Memorial Hermann system, and involves night shifts on a 3/12-hour schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
- Certified in Basic Life Support or Advanced Life Support
- ARRT-MR or ARMRIT MR certification preferred
