Job Summary
MRI Technologist position in Florence, SC for a full-time role performing MRI procedures under the direction of the Radiologist and Radiology Director, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and operating MRI equipment in accordance with ACR and ARRT/state regulations. The role requires a demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, work collaboratively with diverse colleagues, and plan, design, implement, and evaluate one’s own work with minimal supervision. A 3-5 year MRI background is preferred, with eligibility to obtain ARRT and MR certification within 6 months, and CPR certification required. The position may involve overtime or on-call duties.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved and accredited A.R.R.T. program
- Graduate of an approved and accredited MRI program
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or obtain within 6 months
- MRI certification required (ARRT-MR) or obtain within 6 months
- CPR certification required.
