Job Summary
Perform prescribed radiographic imaging procedures independently, analyzing results to identify and resolve image quality issues. Review patient history and physician orders, educating patients on procedures and equipment to ensure cooperation. When ordered, prepare and administer contrast media while monitoring patient condition and reporting status changes. Prepare equipment, select exposure factors, implement safety standards, and troubleshoot malfunctions as necessary. Requires an Associate's Degree or equivalent training with ARMRIT certification. Sign-on bonus of $30,000 for a 3-year commitment. Located at Forbes Hospital, Allegheny Health Network.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Associate's Degree; or equivalent from a two year college or a technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent education and experience
- American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography (R), or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT), or Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) registered as an MR technologist certification
- HIPAA compliance
- adherence to applicable federal and state laws, rules, and regulations
- adherence to company policies and training requirements
