Job Summary

Perform complete and diagnostic Magnetic Resonance imaging studies of pediatric patients for radiologist interpretation. Produce and evaluate images according to defined protocols to assist with timely interpretation of imaging exams and treatment plans. Adhere to Radiology-specific policies regarding patient safety, maintain required education levels, and protect Magnetic Resonance Zone safety by screening patients for contraindications to MRI and contrast administration. Support anesthesia staff in collaboration with Radiology nursing to prepare and monitor sedated patients in the MRI environment. Requires 3 years' MRI experience in neuro, body, musculoskeletal, and vascular areas, plus A.R.R.T. certification and Florida Radiography License. Evening shift 12:30p - 9p, Mon thru Fri, with on-call rotation potentially including weekends.

Required Qualifications

  • Satisfactory completion of an AMA accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • 3 years' MRI experience required in neuro, body, musculoskeletal and vascular areas
  • A.R.R.T. (R) (MR)
  • Florida Radiography License
  • Current Basic Life Support, AHA
  • Strong computer skills in multiple databases for the acquisition and manipulation of image data, utilizing 3d, neuro-functional post-processing workstations, PACS and electronic charting
  • MRI contrast administration with IV skills
  • Evening Shift 12:30p - 9p
  • Mon thru Fri - on-call rotation may include weekends
  • Full-Time (40 hours per week)
