Job Summary
MRI Technologist - Evenings: Performs Magnetic Resonance imaging procedures (neuro, body, extremity) following radiologist protocols, with safety oversight. Prepares/positions patients, explains exams, and administers IV contrast as directed. Enters data into IDX Imaging Suite and PACS; processes images; verifies anatomy on images; conducts equipment quality control; reports malfunctions. Serves as radiology liaison and supports physicians as requested; handles exam supplies and maintains safe patient care in a clinical environment. Requires ARRT MR or ARMRIT/NMTCB certifications and a specialty training program graduate; minimum 1 year clinical experience; BLS certification. Required Qualifications
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and (ARRT)-MR Or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) or primary ARRT-MR Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB) and (ARRT)-MR Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB) and ARMRIT
- Graduate from Specialty Training Program
- Minimum of 1 year-Clinical (Required)
- Minimum of 1 year-Related work experience (Preferred)
- Basic Life Support Certification - Default Issuing Body
