Job Summary
Provide quality care to patients receiving diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures, ensuring proper preparation and accurate documentation of all aspects of patient care. Operate imaging and specialty equipment while assisting with performing and planning multiple diagnostic procedures in appropriate time sequence. Act as a resource for students and junior technologists, and complete procedures in the Radiology Information System to ensure billing of exams. Submit billing sheets per guidelines and assist with patient and family education. Requires ARRT registration, two years of experience with one year in MR, and BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Registered with the ARRT
- Minimum of two (2) years experience
- One (1) year in MR
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced certification in MR
