Job Summary
Perform Magnetic Resonance examinations according to physician orders, utilizing sophisticated MRI equipment to produce optimal images while accounting for individual patient special or age-related needs. Apply knowledge and judgment regarding imaging factors, technique, and patient treatment to ensure high-quality diagnostic results. Maintain Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist licensure and pursue national certification within 180 days of hire. Work day shifts Wednesday through Saturday from 7am to 5:30pm at Providence Seaside Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement
- Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist License
- Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist Temporary License
- OBMI temporary license
- National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
