Job Summary
Perform diagnostic MRI exams on patients using specialized equipment while collaborating with radiologists and physicians to ensure accurate imaging results. Manage patient care in a fast-paced environment, including transferring patients, ambulating them, and operating monitors to assess needs. Document patient care, access information, and communicate verbally with providers and visitors during emergencies. Maintain IV competency within 30 days of hire and work a full-time, 36-hour day-shift schedule.
Required Qualifications
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(MR) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R) cross-trained in MRI
- Basic Life Support certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- IV Competency within 30 days of hire
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 years of MRI technologist experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
