Job Summary
Review patient history, physician orders, and schedules exams. Educate patients on procedures and equipment to ensure cooperation. When ordered, prepare and administer contrast media or medications while monitoring patient condition continually. Prepare equipment, select imaging parameters, and perform quality control procedures. Position patients and perform imaging procedures, analyzing results to resolve image quality issues. Enter, transmit, and report scan results. Requires critical thinking skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. This onsite role at UCHealth Longs Peak Hospital offers PRN hours with a pay range of $40.40 to $56.56 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Registered as a Technologist (RT)
- registered in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
- registry eligible with completing of registry within 12 months by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT Radiography)
- registry eligible with completing of registry within 12 months by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
- State licensure if required by law
- BLS through the American Heart Association
- CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
