Job Summary

Conduct and perform MRI examinations requiring independent judgment, assuming responsibility for designated procedures. Perform CT scans when needed, receiving primary MRI rates for such work. Maintain patient-focused, whole-person care standards in a culture built on understanding and mutual respect. Complete formal radiologic technology training and obtain required certifications, including BLS and registry credentials within one year. Work per-diem shifts with variable schedules on-site at Swedish Ballard. Join the largest not-for-profit health care system in the greater Puget Sound area, serving diverse communities across multiple campuses and clinics.

Required Qualifications

  • Satisfactory completion of a formal radiologic technology training program
  • Washington Radiologic Technologist
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • National Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging
  • National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists
  • 2 years of experience as a radiologic technologist
  • at least one-year experience in an MRI department

Desired Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience in a CT Scan or MRI department
