Job Summary
Perform MRI examinations according to established imaging protocols and physician orders while preparing and positioning patients for procedures. Operate MRI equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images and review images for quality and completeness prior to submission. Follow MRI safety standards and screening procedures for patients and staff, and maintain accurate patient records and procedure documentation. Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to support timely patient care and monitor equipment performance as needed. Requires ARRT registration in MRI, current New Mexico MRI license, and BLS certification. Located in Las Cruces, this role offers medical, dental, and vision insurance along with continuing education support within a collaborative clinical environment.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT registered in MRI or certified through ARMRIT
- Current New Mexico MRI license
- ability to obtain New Mexico MRI license prior to start
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong knowledge of MRI safety practices and imaging procedures
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
