Job Summary
The MRI Technologist performs quality Magnetic Resonance Imaging using advanced technical expertise while prioritizing patient care for all ages. Responsibilities include managing stable outpatients to critically ill patients on full life support. The role requires an Associate's degree, a graduation from an accredited Radiological Technology program, and clinical expertise in cross-sectional anatomy. Candidates should have 2-3 years of MRI experience, with pediatric experience being advantageous. Certification requirements include ARRT (RT) (MRI) with a TMB licensure within 90 days, or ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification, alongside current CPR - BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree
- Graduation from accredited program in Radiological Technology
- 2-3 years MRI experience
- Possess a level of clinical expertise and competency in cross sectional anatomy
- Must have either ARRT (RT) (MRI) with TMB Licensure within 90 days or ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT
- CPR - BLS required
Desired Qualifications
- MRI experience preferred
