Job Summary
Advanced MRI Technologist at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh supporting the Rooney Sports Medicine outpatient clinic. Responsibilities include QA, regulatory testing, MR safety, contrast administration, protocol development with Radiologists, training staff and students, independent coverage of shifts, and potential work at satellite facilities. Requires ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification, CPR/BLS, 2 years MRI experience, and a strong recent performance review; schedule features three 13-hour shifts per week with weekend rotations and two holidays per year.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of formal MRI-related training program
- ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification
- CPR or BLS certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR according to AHA standards
- 2 years MRI experience
- Strong/solid/good performance review in most recent evaluation
- Ability to work shifts including on-call and satellite facilities
- Ability to address patient safety and document patient information as per SOPs
- Ability to train staff and students
- Licensure/Certifications: ARRT MR or ARMRIT, CPR/BLS
