Job Summary

Operate magnetic resonance imaging machines to create diagnostic images according to physicians' instructions, document patient health histories, and prepare patients for scans while ensuring their comfort. Follow referring physician orders and protocols to administer prescribed medications, transfer images, and verify patient information. Adhere strictly to safety policies, report hazards, and participate in safety committees to support continuous improvements. This role requires full-time, daytime work Monday through Friday with no nights, weekends, or holidays, and may involve up to 100% travel across multiple Minnesota locations. Candidates must hold an ARRT certification, CPR certification, and an associate's degree or equivalent experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
  • six months to one-year related experience and/or training
  • equivalent combination of education and experience
  • PC proficiency to access job related internet websites, review on-line documentation and experience using Microsoft Office Suite products
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication, analytical, critical thinking, organizational and time management skills
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work well independently
  • The ability to follow instructions in stressful environments
  • Superb bedside manner and the ability to work with a variety of personalities
  • ARRT
  • CPR certified
  • State licensure if required
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
  • Varicella (Chickenpox)
  • Hepatitis B Series
  • Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis)
  • annual Influenza vaccine
  • COVID-19 vaccination, if required by facility policy
  • Tuberculosis screening (annual or per facility guidelines)
  • Must be able to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel and crawl
  • Must be able to climb up and down stairs
  • Must be able to push and pull wheelchairs
  • Must be able to carry and lift with the ability to move non-ambulatory patients from a sitting or lying position for transfer or exam
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Must be able to travel up to 100% of the time
  • Must be able to complete a background check
  • Must be able to pass a drug screening
