Job Summary
The MRI Technologist produces high-quality MRI studies, manages patient comfort and positioning, and ensures proper equipment usage. Responsibilities include interpreting physician instructions, explaining MRI procedures to patients, performing quality assurance checks, and maintaining necessary supplies and records. Candidates must possess strong communication skills, independent judgment, and knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an accredited radiologic technologist program
- Certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Advanced level certification (or eligible) in MRI
