Job Summary
Operate advanced imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate results. Perform MRI scans according to physician orders and established protocols, positioning patients correctly and explaining procedures to ensure cooperation. Monitor patients during scans, responding promptly to any signs of distress, and maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation. Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to ensure accurate diagnoses while upholding patient confidentiality. Follow safety guidelines to protect staff from unnecessary magnetic field exposure. Shifts run Friday through Sunday evenings (3-12 hours), with a competitive $10,000 sign-on bonus and eligibility for all benefits on day one.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology or MRI Technology from an accredited program
- ARRT (MR) certification required (or registry eligible with plan to complete certification)
- Current state licensure (if applicable)
- BLS/CPR certification
- Strong knowledge of MRI technology, safety protocols, and imaging principles
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ year of MRI Tech experience (preferred; new grads may be considered)
