Job Summary
MRI Technologist performing MRI studies with safety and quality focus in a fast-paced hospital setting. Responsibilities include patient preparation, positioning, selecting imaging protocols, acquiring images, QA procedures, and image display. Must be able to rotate across MRI scanners, assist with IV catheterization and MR contrast injections, monitor for adverse reactions, document in EMR, and ensure patient safety per Joint Commission guidelines. Requires ARRT or ARMRIT certification upon hire, NH Medical Imaging License (MR)(R), and BLS. Evening shift (Tuesday–Friday 12:30 p.m.–11 p.m.) at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital, Dover, NH with potential overnight/holiday coverage and sign-on bonus with full-time benefits.
Required Qualifications
- MRI Registered Technologist with ARRT OR ARMRIT required upon hire
- NH Medical Imaging License (MR)(R) required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Experience as an MRI Technologist 1-2 years required
- Education: Medical Imaging required or Associate's Degree
