Job Summary
Perform routine, specialized, and interventional MRI imaging while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Assist the Radiologist and Radiology nurses with sedation cases and conduct venipuncture when indicated. Communicate clearly, build relationships, and take initiative for professional growth within a collaborative environment. Maintain accountability for performance and actively seek ways to improve the patient experience. This role requires a graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program with current BLS and ARRT (MR) certification, or the ability to obtain licensure within a year. The position is PRN with variable call shifts from 4p-8p at Methodist Celina Medical Center.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification - ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT
- Texas Department of State Health certification
- 1 year Work Experience
- ARRT (R) certification (with requirement to obtain ARRT (MR) license within 1 year of completing orientation)
